Job Site Work Light used many ways

Here the 11-Way work light is hung upside down from a 2x4 using a couple of the hook & loop straps and an aircraft cable bail. There is enough linkable strap to tie around larger dimensional lumber or to suspend the light lower.

Hanging the light upside down from the ceiling generally gives the best and most even illumination of the floor and walls.

Or construction light can be hung the other way around to illuminate a ceiling cavity.

Construction Work Light Straps

Hook and Loop straps work like Velcro(tm) to attach work light to ladders, beams, or equipment When not in use, they easily wrap around the light fixture base for storage.

Carpentry Work Light

Screw hook with a latch threads into wood by hand. Here the 11-way work light is shown hanging rightside up from the aircraft cable bail. It can also hang upside down from the bail on the other end or from the folding hook. Use the linkable hook and loop straps to lower the light as needed.

If you are working on walls it's best to have the light vertical.

If you want to run the light fixture horizontal, like over a saw table, you can hook the cage into the latching hook.

led construction work light hangs on nail

Construction light made to hang on nail

The steel base has a "clock hanger keyhole", so you can hang it on the nail. It can't slide off unless the light is lifted first. I include 3 sample nails. The nails come out straight by using a hammer with a side to side rocking motion.

This is a great way to use this construction light if you have to work next to a wall.

Construction Light for Plumbing, HVAC, Wiring with folding hook

The folding hook is generously sized to fit common cross braces, pipes, and lumber. Here it's hooked to a duct support strap.

If you need to finish an outdoor job after dark, it will hook (or tie) to a ladder rung.

throw the tripod construction lights Out!

It seems like tripods are always in the way-- If I only had a dollar for every time I had to walk around one. And you know they don't last. The plastic pieces wear out or break and the whole light collapses. You grab the top of the tripod and the bottom stays put. The light fixture heads droop and point to the floor.

Our compact 11-way light will stay out of your way and has no moving parts to wear out.

Forget the Toy construction Lights!

Importers have dreamt up awkward lights that are just too dim to use! If you want to squint and struggle, buy one of those toy lights. If you want to work, buy a work light -- a real work light-- like our 11-way all purpose, high output work light.

If you are looking to get an average recommended 20 foot candles of light on the ceiling and walls of a room, a 2000 lumen light will only illuminate a 4x5 closet. And the lighting gets worse as the battery discharges and as the battery wears out. Our 11-Way Work Light will nicely light up a 12'x15' room.

electrical outlet powers work light while batteries are for flashlights

Construction Work light physics: Batteries vs. cords

It's just not practical to use batteries for more than running a flashlight. Lighting up a decent sized room takes about 100 watts. A 4Ah, 20v battery only stores 80 watt-hours of energy. So you'd have to change batteries every 48 minutes if you fully discharge them. But full discharges are devastating to battery life. (Only discharging by 70% is recommended.) So plan on spending as much time changing and recharging batteries as you spend working.
